We noted recently [1] that E*Trade was bent on beefing up its mobile offering, relying in part on technology from Vaultus and BlackBerry. Now it has launched an iPhone and iTouch app [2]. It seems that more retail brokerages are optimizing applications for both. The app is available for free from the Apple App Store, notes Wall Street & Technology. In addition, Quicken has launched some iPhone apps [3].
