SAP looks beyond banks in 2009
TheStreet.com says tech giant SAP is not offering revenue guidance for 2009, and you can guess why. But it will hardly be business as usual.
Bill McDermott, CEO of Global Field Operations for SAP, says his operation will look beyond banking in their fight to continue to steal market share from Oracle. He's looking at emerging markets, noting that Brazil, Russian and India are "robust" markets. China is a "great market for SAP." But these countries will be hit too. You can bet expenses will inevitably become a focus as companies hunker down.
