Vatican shuts down card payments


On January 1, the Bank of Italy ordered Deutsche Bank Italia, which handles bank card payments on Vatican territory, to deactivate its terminals because of authorization problem. Local press reported big issues between the Vatican and banks seeking to implement AML policies.
